Degree Syllabus

Course Duration :

Three years

Compulsory subjects for both PASS and HONS. Course :

i. General English (1st& 2nd Sem.)
ii. Alt. English / MIL (Assamese) (3rd& 4th Sem.)
iii. F.C.E.S (5th& 6th Sem.)

In addition, a candidate must select three (3) elective subjects from the following
i. Economics
ii. Political-Science
iii. Education
iv. History
v. Sociology
vi. Elective Assamese

From the list of the three (3) elective subjects, a student may offer "Honours" in any one (1)ofthe following subjects
i. English
ii. Economics
iii. Political-Science
iv. History
v. Education
vi. Sociology
vii. Assamese

A student who drops "Honours" in English and Assamese must clear Elective English & Elective Assamese respectively of the previous semesters.
